New gondolas make their debut

On the Rokko Arima Ropeway, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in July 2020, new gondolas manufactured by CWA of Switzerland will make their debut on March 20, 2020.
This design is the first ever in Japan with valley-side viewing seats situated at a lower step!

Viewing seats
On the Arima (valley) side only, the viewing seats are situated at a lower step (165 mm) to enhance the thrill of the Yubunetani valley, 140 meters deep
Glass surface
Expansive and spacious, with 360° views making nature feel closer and more magnificent
Wide entrance
44 cm wider than the current gondola model, providing ample space for wheelchairs and strollers
